Area Overview
Located in the heart of the Grand Strand, North Myrtle Beach is the best choice for living if you want great year-round weather, the Atlantic Ocean in your neighborhood, amazing dining options, shopping and, of course, award-winning golf.
The Dye Townhomes are situated within the Barefoot Community adjacent to The Dye Course and a golf cart ride away from Barefoot's Love Course, Fazio Course and the Norman Course. Each course offers a unique day of play each and every time. Visit with your community neighbors and golfing partners at the Dye Clubhouse or at the main Resort Clubhouse. Each has its own proshop, offering the latest must-have items for a day of golf. If you would like to get in some practice before you hit the links visit the driving range, the latest addition to the Barefoot golf community.
When you are done with the day's rounds, just beyond your front door there are countless opportunities for adventure and fun. Within a stone's throw is Barefoot Landing, where shopping, dining and entertainment are bountiful. Take a stroll along Ocean Drive (known as "O.D." to the locals), which is situated in the heart of North Myrtle Beach, or check out the fishing options at the Cherry Grove Pier. If you want to go a little further out, charter a boat for a deep sea fishing adventure. North Myrtle Beach's Main Street is a great place to shop at unique boutiques, eat at local, family-owned restaurants or walk on the sandy beaches that help lend North Myrtle Beach its quaint charm. Gear up for a day at the beach at a conveniently-located beachwear store, or rent a surfboard and hit the waves.
Throughout the year there are many festivals and events to keep you busy. Two banner events for North Myrtle Beach are the annual week-long migrations of shaggers. Sponsored by Society of Stranders (SOS) thousands of shagging fans get together to dance, party and hang out with old friends and meet new ones. The entire Grand Strand is filled with fun family activities and entertainment.
